At the Mountains of Madness…
Science Daily reports that a team from the University of Northumbria plans to drill deep into the Antarctic Ice “which may lead to the discovery of life-forms cut off from the main line of evolution for millions of years.” Dear God hasn’t anyone from the University of Northumbria read report from the Miskatonic University expedition cleverly disguised as fiction by HP Lovecraft in At the Mountains of Madness! Don’t they understand the eldritch horror that could be unleashed upon mankind!
